UpShift values transparency and strives to be fair to both customers and technicians. Please review the following policy before scheduling service.
1. Appointment Cancellations
Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments at any time. We request at least twenty-four (24) hours notice whenever possible.
2. Late Cancellations
Appointments canceled with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice may be subject to a reasonable cancellation fee to compensate for reserved technician time and scheduling impacts.
3. Missed Appointments
If a technician arrives and service cannot be performed because the customer is unavailable, the vehicle is inaccessible, or required information was not provided, a missed appointment fee may be charged.
4. Unsafe Or Unsuitable Conditions
UpShift reserves the right to postpone or cancel service when weather, location conditions, safety concerns, vehicle access issues, or other circumstances prevent safe mobile service. In these situations, no cancellation fee will typically apply.
5. Deposits
Certain services, fleet projects, special-order parts, or large repairs may require deposits. Deposit requirements will be communicated before work is scheduled.
6. Deposit Refunds
Deposits may be refundable if cancellation occurs before parts are ordered, labor is scheduled, or expenses are incurred. Once costs have been incurred, deposits may become partially or fully non-refundable.
7. Special-Order Parts
Parts ordered specifically for a customer's vehicle may be non-refundable once purchased from suppliers. Any applicable supplier restocking fees may be deducted from approved refunds.
8. Completed Services
Labor charges for completed services are generally non-refundable. If concerns arise regarding workmanship, customers should contact UpShift promptly so the issue can be evaluated under our Warranty Policy.
9. Diagnostic Services
Diagnostic services are non-refundable. Diagnostic fees compensate technicians for time spent evaluating vehicle concerns regardless of whether repairs are approved.
10. Membership Cancellations
Members may cancel their membership at any time. Cancellation prevents future recurring billing but does not provide refunds for previously billed membership fees.
11. Membership Refunds
Membership fees are generally non-refundable. Benefits provided during the active membership period may affect eligibility for any exceptions.
12. Fleet Services
Fleet projects, maintenance programs, consultations, and scheduled fleet work may be subject to separate cancellation or deposit terms communicated in writing.
13. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on financial institutions and payment providers.
14. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact UpShift before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes so that concerns can be reviewed and addressed directly.
15. Exceptions
UpShift reserves the right to make reasonable exceptions to this policy based on specific circumstances, customer history, supplier requirements, or operational considerations.
