UpShift Warranty Policy

We stand behind our workmanship and strive to provide reliable, professional mobile automotive service. This policy explains how warranty coverage works.

June 15th, 2026

This Warranty Policy applies to qualifying services performed by UpShift Auto Services unless otherwise stated in writing.

1. Labor Warranty Coverage

UpShift provides a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty on qualifying workmanship, whichever occurs first. Coverage begins on the date service is completed.

2. Parts Warranty Coverage

Replacement parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty terms, durations, and limitations vary by manufacturer and part supplier.

3. What Is Covered

Warranty coverage generally applies to defects in workmanship related to services performed by UpShift and qualifying defects in replacement parts supplied and installed by UpShift.

4. What Is Not Covered

Warranty coverage does not apply to normal wear and tear, maintenance items, unrelated component failures, accidents, abuse, neglect, misuse, corrosion, environmental damage, racing, commercial abuse, modifications, or pre-existing conditions.

5. Customer-Supplied Parts

UpShift does not provide warranty coverage for customer-supplied parts. Labor associated with customer-supplied parts may also be excluded from warranty coverage.

6. Diagnostic Services

Diagnostic services are intended to identify likely causes of vehicle concerns and are not covered by a repair warranty. Additional testing may be required if vehicle conditions change or new symptoms develop.

7. Membership Benefits

Membership plans do not extend, replace, or modify warranty coverage unless specifically stated in writing.

8. Warranty Claim Process

If you believe a warrantable condition exists, contact UpShift as soon as possible. We may require an inspection before authorizing warranty repairs or replacements.

9. Inspection Requirement

UpShift reserves the right to inspect any vehicle before approving warranty coverage. Repairs performed by another shop without prior authorization may void warranty consideration.

10. Unauthorized Repairs

Warranty reimbursement is not available for repairs performed by third parties unless prior written authorization is provided by UpShift.

11. Transferability

Warranty coverage applies to the original customer and serviced vehicle and is generally non-transferable unless otherwise approved by UpShift.

12. Limitations Of Liability

Warranty coverage is limited to repair, replacement, or correction of covered defects at UpShift's discretion. Warranty coverage does not include incidental, consequential, towing, rental car, lost income, lost business, or other indirect damages.

13. Fleet Vehicles

Fleet vehicles may be subject to additional warranty considerations based on vehicle usage, operating conditions, and manufacturer requirements.

14. Maintenance Requirements

Customers are responsible for maintaining their vehicles according to manufacturer recommendations. Failure to properly maintain a vehicle may affect warranty eligibility.

15. Changes To This Policy

UpShift reserves the right to update this Warranty Policy at any time. Updated versions become effective when posted on this website.
