By using our website, requesting service, approving an estimate, enrolling in a membership, or purchasing services from UpShift Auto Services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. About UpShift
UpShift provides mobile automotive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repair services, vehicle health assessments, fleet maintenance services, and membership programs throughout our service area.
2. Estimates & Quotes
All estimates and quotes are based on information available at the time they are prepared. Vehicle condition, hidden damage, parts availability, manufacturer requirements, or additional testing may affect final pricing. UpShift will not perform additional work without customer authorization. Quotes are generally valid for fourteen (14) days unless otherwise stated.
3. Mobile Service Requirements
Customers agree to provide safe and legal access to the vehicle, adequate workspace, reasonable access to keys when required, accurate vehicle information, and a safe environment free from hazards. UpShift may refuse, postpone, or discontinue service when conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for mobile operations.
4. Vehicle Condition & Diagnostic Limitations
Automotive diagnostics involve evaluating vehicle systems using available information and testing procedures. Some concerns may require additional testing, component disassembly, extended diagnostic time, manufacturer-specific procedures, or specialized equipment. Diagnostic fees apply regardless of whether repairs are approved.
5. Customer Approval
No repairs, maintenance services, or additional work will be performed without customer approval. Approval may be provided through signed estimates, electronic approvals, email approval, text message approval, or documented verbal approval.
6. Parts & Materials
Unless specifically stated otherwise, parts and materials are billed separately. This includes engine oil, oil filters, air filters, cabin filters, batteries, brake pads, brake rotors, fluids, tires, and replacement components. Customer-supplied parts may be accepted at UpShift's discretion and may limit warranty coverage.
7. Membership Programs
UpShift memberships are preventative maintenance programs intended to help customers monitor vehicle health and stay ahead of maintenance needs. Memberships are not vehicle warranties, mechanical breakdown insurance, service contracts, roadside assistance programs, or towing programs.
8. Quarterly Oil Service Labor Benefit
Certain membership plans include one routine oil service labor charge per enrolled vehicle per calendar quarter. Oil, oil filters, fluids, parts, and additional repairs are not included unless specifically stated. Unused quarterly benefits do not accumulate, roll over, or convert into cash value.
9. Fleet Services
Fleet maintenance programs are designed to assist businesses with vehicle monitoring, maintenance planning, inspections, and service coordination. Fleet programs do not guarantee vehicle uptime, breakdown prevention, repair avoidance, or emergency service availability.
10. Scheduling & Cancellations
Customers should provide at least twenty-four (24) hours notice when rescheduling or canceling appointments. UpShift reserves the right to charge reasonable cancellation fees for missed appointments, lack of vehicle access, or repeated last-minute cancellations.
11. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. UpShift may require deposits, prepayment for special-order parts, or prepayment for large projects or fleet work. Customers are responsible for applicable taxes.
12. Warranty Policy
Warranty coverage is governed by UpShift's published Warranty Policy and applicable manufacturer warranties. Warranty coverage does not apply to normal wear and tear, customer-supplied parts, abuse, misuse, neglect, accidents, modifications, or unrelated component failures.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UpShift shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. UpShift's maximum liability relating to any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the service that gave rise to the claim.
14. Website Content
Information on this website is for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional repair advice specific to any individual vehicle. Vehicle conditions should be evaluated individually.

17. Service Area
Service availability may vary by location. UpShift reserves the right to decline service outside designated service areas. Travel fees may apply in certain circumstances.
